TomTom has stopped its GPS watches' WEB services at the end of 2023.

I found it the hard way - the MySports app was not able to sync the activities, so I've logged to the website and found the service discontinuation warning. Appareently they've warned us, the users, a year or more ago. A thing which I've missed, may be they didn't send us the e-mail.

At least the website was still active so I was able to download an archive of all my activities. They've shut down the website a few months later.

The mobile app is not usable without the Web service. So no mobile app, no web service. I think I've also had a copy of the Windows app which was also usable.

They've left us with just the watches, which are quite tough, and I'm sure some of us will still have them working after 10 years.

The watches are garbage without the software to download the activities and analyze them. Thankfully some nice people have made OpenSource software which can be used to download the activities' data and update QuickGPS.

The activities can be then uploaded to e.g. some online service like Strava to be analyzed.
